 The Partnership Ends Policies

The Partnership for Philanthropic Planning's Board of Directors governs the Partnership using an adapted model of John Carver's Policy Governance®. The Partnership’s activities are directed by ends policies created by the Board on behalf of all the organization’s members and key constituents. These policies state the results that The Partnership exists to accomplish. They specify:
  • "What Good"―results, changes, or benefits that should come about
  • For "What People"―recipients, beneficiaries, or otherwise defined impacted groups
  • At "What Cost"―the relative priority or allocation of organizational resources devoted to achievement
The Partnership's abbreviated policies are listed here in prioritized order. To read the complete text of the policies, click here. If you have questions about these policies or other aspects of NCPG governance, please contact Barbara Yeager at byeager@pppnet.org.
