Your position as a council
leader and your particular contributions within it are critical to the
success of your council and NCPG. While we constantly strive, through
education and communication, to provide a national identity to the gift
planning community, we know that it is on the local level that gift planners
and affiliated professionals can join to lend support, solve problems, and
forge strong relationships among all those concerned with promoting the
ethical practice of planned giving.
Herein, you will find the primary source of information on NCPG’s structure
and resources that support your council. Each program and service has been
designed to meet member council needs. As those needs evolve, so will the
services and benefits offered.
Check out the Council Services section for information on NCPG’s 501(c)(3)
Group Exemption, the Speakers Bureau Directory, the Board of Directors
Speakers Program, Council Web Packages, ICDMS and more. Visit the Council
Tools and Best Practices section (coming soon) for sample and template
governing documents, helpful tips on strategic planning and membership
recruitment and retention, sample council programs and more. Peruse the
General Council and NCPG Information sections for a look at NCPG’s Bylaws
and Articles of Incorporation and links to the council directory, council
websites, NCPG Board members and staff.
And don’t forget—your thoughts and suggestions on NCPG and its member
council activities are always welcome. Please use the contact us feature to
