LEAVE A LEGACY is fortunate to have a dedicated and passionate volunteer base to share its message with the public. We want to take this opportunity to thank you for donating your time and talent to this groundbreaking campaign. 

We appreciate that volunteer work can be challenging. Local campaign volunteers have expressed the difficulties they face in transitioning tasks from one volunteer leader to the next, as well as finding the time to check in with NCPG on an annual basis to share contact information and campaign activity data via the annual registration forms. While this basic information is necessary to determine the impact of the campaign―and to ensure accurate contact data―we understand that volunteers are doing the best they can to support the message. 

Beginning in 2008, we will not require local LEAVE A LEGACY efforts to register annually with NCPG. LEAVE A LEGACY remains the public outreach effort of local planned giving councils, so it is still important for volunteers to coordinate their activities with their council and maintain a productive relationship in order to stay abreast of developments with the campaign. You will receive a packet of information around the first of the year that will include information on new options for councils to download and share campaign materials online, information on updates to www.leavealegacy.org, as well as a new CD with easy to use .pdf files that contain fields for entering local program contact information.

**Please note that you may continue to use the campaign CD you already have. We simply want to provide you with additional, streamlined options for easy use of the materials.
